Located just off the Caprock east of Crosbyton, Camp Rio Blanco offers breathtaking sunsets over the canyon and gorgeous wildflowers along its hiking trails. On its 118 acres, Camp Rio Blanco offers hiking, archery, nature studies, and more. Accredited by the American Camp Association for its high standards in both facilities and programs, Camp Rio Blanco was established in 1959.
Facilities include cabins, a primitive unit, heated and cooled unit houses, and modern bathhouses with showers and hot water.
Camp Rio Blanco is available for girl and adult activities year-round. A part-time site manager/camp ranger lives off site.
